Vet Consultations

At Canning Vale Vet, our consultations are designed to provide thorough, personalised care for pets of all kinds, including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other exotic animals. Our experienced veterinarians take the time to understand your concerns and ensure every issue, no matter how small, is properly assessed and addressed.

Routine consultations typically run for 20–30 minutes, giving you the opportunity to discuss your pet’s health in detail and ask any questions. This extended time allows our team to build a clear understanding of your pet’s condition and develop an appropriate diagnostic and treatment plan tailored to their individual needs.

Each consultation includes a comprehensive health check, beginning with an initial observation of your pet’s overall appearance and behaviour, followed by a detailed physical examination. This includes assessment of the eyes, ears, nose, and mouth, as well as the gums, teeth, and any oral abnormalities. We also examine the head and neck, listen to the heart and lungs, and perform abdominal palpation to check internal organs.
