During your pet’s consultation, we perform a detailed history and examination, assessing your pet’s skin, coat, and ears. Where required, we may recommend diagnostic testing such as skin scrapings, ear swab cytology, or bacterial and fungal cultures to guide treatment decisions.
Depending on your pet’s condition, management options may include food trials using single protein or hydrolysed diets, environmental allergy management, and targeted medications. We offer a range of treatment options including Cytopoint injections, non-steroidal oral medications, tapering steroid therapy when appropriate, and long-acting injections for more severe cases.
Treatment may also involve topical therapies, oral antibiotics, medicated ear drops, and ongoing monitoring to ensure the best outcome. Our team will work closely with you to create a practical, long-term plan to keep your pet comfortable and minimise future flare-ups.
