Microchipping

In Western Australia it is compulsory by law to microchip your dog and cat. It is always feasible to microchip puppies and kittens before the age of 12 weeks at the time of their first vaccination. It is easy to restrain puppies and kittens than it is for adult dogs and cats, and in few adult dogs and cats this procedure may require sedation. Every microchip comes with a unique number which gets registered with the national Australian animal register. Your local council also needs a microchip number to register your dog and cat.
