Life Story of Dr Ram Naresh
Dr Ram Naresh brings more than 34 years of experience in veterinary medicine and surgery, with a career spanning both India and Australia. Over the years, he has worked as a veterinarian, university lecturer, and researcher, combining practical experience with a strong academic background. Dr Ram migrated to Australia in 2005 and later worked throughout Perth as a mobile veterinarian from 2012 to 2018 before opening Canning Vale Veterinary Hospital in 2018.
Growing up in a remote village in India, Dr Ram’s journey into veterinary medicine began with humble beginnings. He studied by kerosene lamp throughout his schooling and, in his early school years, used a wooden writing board and chalk for learning. Shortly after completing Year 12, he entered veterinary school in 1987 as a teenager, beginning a lifelong commitment to animal care and education.
Outside of veterinary practice, Dr Ram is a passionate animal lover and enjoys living close to nature. He shares his home with his daughter, a Tibetan Mastiff, two Ragdoll cats, a Sun Conure, and local native wildlife. He strongly believes in the philosophy of “KARMA” and values meditation, yoga, and a balanced lifestyle connected with nature.
Known for his thorough and engaging consultations, Dr Ram combines extensive knowledge with a warm sense of humour, helping clients feel informed and supported while ensuring the best possible care for their pets.
