Van came to us as a veterinary nurse student during 2023. After she graduated we employed her at our hospital part time. She moved from Vietnam to Perth to commence her studies.

She is happily married to her husband and has 2 dogs that live in Vietnam with her parents. She is a very hardworking vet nurse and always willing to give pets a big cuddle. She is always ensuring our patients get a lot of TLC.
Van is looking forward to adopt her own pets here in Perth.

Tamika came to us as a newly graduated dog trainer in 2020. She strives and is very passionate to give the best advice and knowledge on raising your new family member as part of the family and guiding your pups to be the most confident and trained puppy.

Tamika came to us as a newly graduated dog trainer in 2020. She strives and is very passionate to give the best advice and knowledge on raising your new family member as part of the family and guiding your pups to be the most confident and trained puppy. She is currently studying multiple webinars through IMDT, as well as The Aggression in Dogs Master Course. She is looking at also completing the Fear Free Pet Professionals Dog Training Course, Low Stress, Handling Uni, Better Vet visits.

Tamika has her own dog training business Impeccable K9. Impeccable K9 runs group classes, training workshops, drop in classes, one on one training, walk and trains and puppy planning (preparing for your new addition to the family.) Tamika is also animal mad! She has 3 dogs, 3 cats, 1 ferret, 2 birds and 15 reptiles. She also volunteers through SAFE metro helping with fostering pets in need.

Sophie Lavery

Sophie came to us as a trainee vet nurse in 2020. After completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, she joined our team a vet nurse in January 2021. Sophie is a fast learner and as of now she is the head nurse and manages day to day activities of reception and surgeries. She has since then grown as a vet nurse and helps train other vet nursing students. We call her our little walkie talkie or Dr Ram’s other daughter.

Sophie is happily married to her husband Tim. She has an elderly dog Boris who is a Pugalier and a naughty fawn pug named Pretzel. Pretzel is an Instagram star @itspretzel.thepug She also has a young female black pug named Donut. Donut was named after a cheeky labrador that has came to our hospital many times for induced vomiting. Sophie chose the name for Donut the day ‘Wally’ came in for eating 5 donuts off the kitchen bench.

Aduesha Naresh (Addy)

Addy is the youngest team member of Canning Vale Veterinary Hospital. She is doing her level best to train as a vet during her animal science studies at Murdoch University.

Addy is the youngest team member of Canning Vale Veterinary Hospital. She is doing her level best to train as a vet during her animal science studies at Murdoch University. Addy has made enormous contributions by supporting her father Ram on every occasion in the last 10 years. Addy is involved with the day-to-day activities of the hospital as everyone’s assistant, whilst nurturing her love of animals. Recently Addy has recently enrolled in Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

Addy has a very kind heart towards birds, guinea pigs, rabbits and other animals in the wild. On occasions she has called Ram in her school/playground parks to look after ill birds. On one occasion, she brought home a baby magpie who had being attacked by other birds in the park. She successfully managed to release the baby magpie at the same place after a few weeks. Addy has her own menagerie with multiple pets that includes an Eclectus parrot, Fantail pigeons, Guinea pigs, Rabbits, Ragdoll Kittens and a Tibetan Mastiff dog. Sunny, a young Eclectus parrot is Addy’s best friend who loves grooming Addy’s hair and eyebrows.
